Back on Feb 13th  2003 we decided to form our organization to service the needs of the Central Florida community. We noticed that while there were many places of worship, they did not fulfill the relevant needs of the modern devotee nor incorporating the children into learning and development. The Hindu religion being one of the oldest religions have not changed its thought process in thousands of years and the elders in our community either by personal design or in an attempt to preserve our culture didn't either, this cause a vast number of Hindus to convert to a simpler religion. Our goal was to bring this beautiful Hindu religion and culture forward in a way that will enhance lifestyles and families well beings. We strongly believe in education and Saraswati Devi Mandir, a temple of the Hindu Goddess of Education Saraswati was formed and is located in the City of Orlando, Florida.

Built in a contemporary style through kar-seva (the volunteer efforts of many) it is frequented by followers of Hinduism both young and the elderly.

We focus exclusively on the education of our children, we provide weekly musical and education engagement with children of the temple and the community in an attempt to keep these young minds sharp.
